From the 1920's recordings of children's nursery rhymes and songs began to be appear on 78rpm records and, as technology progressed, became available on 7" 45rpm & 12" 33&1/3rpm vinyl, cassette, CD and DVD. Such albums of nursery rhymes and new favourite songs (such as Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and The Wheels On The Bus) were much in demand, mainly sold through toy shops and 'mother & baby' outlets.

Nursery rhymes, favourite songs, action songs, early learning songs and lullabies as audio and video recordings are very popular.

Today they are mainly available via the various download and streaming services such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, iTunes and YouTube.
